Watertown
Fire Rescue fire investigators will be examining the fire scene that occurred
last night at Kibble Equipment at 7:45 pm. Upon arrival crews found heavy black
smoke coming from the south shop area. Fire crews made entry finding heavy
black smoke and heat throughout the facility. The total size of the facility is
around 55,000 square feet. The origin of fire was directly west of the office
building which was approximately 9,000 square feet that sustained heavy fire
and heat damage (along with equipment inside). The main office area received
light smoke damage, fire crews were able keep fire and smoke away from the office
area with positive pressure ventilation. The remaining structure received thick
smoke and heat damage. The dollar loss of the facility is undermined, but is
expected to be very high.
