WFR responded late Thursday night, at approximately 9:45 pm, to a pickup versus pedestrian accident on west Hwy 212, one mile west of Watertown.  The accident occurred at highway speeds, and an investigation is ongoing as to what the cause of the accident was.  The patient was transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital by WFR, and unfortunately did not survive the accident.
