[ARCHIVED] WFR Responds to a Single Vehicle Accident

Units from Watertown Fire Rescue responded at 2320 hours Monday night to a single vehicle accident.

When crews arrived on scene they found that a vehicle had hit a deer.  There was significant damage to the front end of the car.  There were no injuries to any of the occupants in the vehicle.  WFR was assisted on scene by Codington County Sheriff's deputy and a local wrecker service.

WFR would like to remind everyone that young deer are becoming more active as evening temperatures cool off.  Please use caution driving at night.
