[ARCHIVED] Phosphorus Removal Demonstration Project Earns Awards

The Lake Kampeska Phosphorus Removal Demonstration Project has earned 3 awards from state and national engineering societies.

HDR has been awarded the Small Projects Grand Prize for the Lake Kampeska Phosphorus Removal Demonstration Project from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists. The award will be presented at the 2014 Excellence in Environmental Engineering & Science Awards Luncheon on April 24, 2014 at the National Press Club, Washington, DC

“Lake Kampeska Phosphorus Removal Demonstration Project” has earned a National Recognition Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) 2014 Engineering Excellence Competition—the Academy Awards of the engineering industry. The National Recognition Award is a distinction honoring projects that do not earn an Honor of Grand Award, but nonetheless demonstrate exceptional achievement in engineering. The City of Watertown and HDR will be recognized at the Gala awards program April 29, 2014 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC. The demonstration project previously earned the state of South Dakota Grand Award for ACEC for 2013.
