[ARCHIVED] WFR Called to Barn Fire

WFR was called to a barn on fire at 17638 453 Ave, which is approximately 4 miles south of town.

The call came in just after 330 pm and crew arrived to an old wooden barn fully engulfed in flames. Crews were able to protect surrounding buildings and then extinguished the fire. They were on scene about 2 hours. No livestock was lost. The cause of the fire was from a burn pile in the yard.

WFR would like to remind people that even though we have received good rainfall, always use precautions when burning and never leave a controlled burn until it is completely extinguished.
