[ARCHIVED] WFR Responds to a Single Vehicle Roll-Over

Watertown Fire Rescue units Rescue 51 and Medic 3 responded to a single vehicle roll-over accident 2.5 miles west of Dakota Sioux Casino on 164th Street on Sunday afternoon around 4:45 p.m.

It appears that a westbound vehicle left the roadway and struck a bridge abutment, causing the vehicle to flip and land on its top, then came to rest on the wheels. There were no reported injuries. WFR crews were assisted by Codington County Sheriff and SD Highway Patrol officers and a local wrecker company.

WFR would like to remind everyone as fall harvest begins; please be safe on rural roads and watch for large equipment and slow moving vehicles.
