[ARCHIVED] Watertown Fire Rescue Responds to 3 Seperate Vehicle Accidents

Watertown Fire Rescue responded to three separate vehicle accidents on August 31, 2016

Watertown Fire Rescue responded to the first accident around 12:00 p.m. at the intersection of 3rd St W and Hwy 212 in front of Watertown Family Aquatic Center. No Injuries were reported. WFR crews cleaned up debris and oil from the roadway.

The second accident was on southbound I-29 about a mile south of town, and occurred at about 3:00 p.m. A vehicle was slowing down for the construction site and was rear-ended by another southbound vehicle. No injuries were reported in this accident and crews cleaned up an oil spill.

The third accident happen at the intersection of Oakwood Road and Highway 212 at 4:10 p.m. This accident caused one vehicle to roll onto its top. There were no injuries to the occupant of the vehicle that rolled but two patients were transported to PLH from the other vehicle. Extent of the injuries were unknown.

Watertown Fire Rescue would like to remind everyone to drive safe this holiday weekend and remember to "BUCKLE UP".

Please remember that school is now in session at most area schools and the speed limit near schools is 15 MPH.
