As part of an ongoing investigation, a search was conducted at a residence in the 1000 block of 9th St NW. Two adults were arrested as a result of the investigation. The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests/charges are pending.

Mr. Corey Reil and Ms. Aida Mahmutovic, both from Watertown were arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Abuse or Neglect to a Minor as Felony.

Possession of Methamphetamine is a Class 5 Felony which carries a maximum penalty of 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000.

Abuse or Neglect to a Minor as Felony is a Class 3 Felony which carries a maximum penalty of 15 years imprisonment and/or $30,000 fine.

A $5,000.00 cash or surety bond was set on both suspects.

Department of Social Services took custody of 4 children as a result of the investigation.
