Driver of 2005 Chevrolet Trail Blazer (5ES598) traveling north across SD HWY 20 from Airport Dr.
Injuries sustained in crash: Fatal

On 08/10/2016 at approximately 05:48 AM the Watertown Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of SD Hwy 20 and Airport Dr.
A SUV was traveling Northbound on Airport Drive crossing the Eastbound lanes of Highway 20.
A pickup truck that was traveling Eastbound on Highway 20 struck the SUV as it was in the intersection.
One driver was treated and released on scene, the other driver died as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Watertown Police Department. All names are being withheld at this time.
Also assisting in the crash was Watertown Fire Rescue.
