[ARCHIVED] Watertown Fire Rescue Responds to Exterior Fire at Local Business

Watertown Fire Rescue responded to 504 Jenson Ave at 8:06 a.m. for a sign that was on fire.

Upon arrive crews found that the store front sign was on fire and had some plastic burning. Crews used water to put the fire out and did some slight overhaul. No other damage or extension was found on the building. The cause of the fire appeared electrical in nature.

Crews would like to remind business to have a fire escape plan, safe meeting spot, and a way to account for all employees in the event of a fire.
