Watertown Fire Rescue responded to an oven fire at 220 S. Maple.
Upon arrival of the firefighters to the apartment the fire in the oven was out. Firefighters opened windows to help clear the smoke out of the residence. There was only minor damage to the oven.
WFR would like to advise, that if your oven catches fire; leave the door shut, exit the area and call 911.
