Late Wednesday afternoon Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a motorcycle vs road sign collision.
The accident occurred about at approximately 5:05 p.m. 8 miles north of Watertown on a County Road. The rider was on a motocross type of a motorcycle, riding in the ditch.
The rider was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital by Watertown Fire Rescue. Cause of the accident is unknown.
WFR would like to remind all motorcycle riders to ride defensively and don't ever assume other vehicles can see you. Stay out of other vehicle's blind spot's if at all possible, and wear bright colors when riding. Last and most important, always wear your helmet. Stay Safe!!!
