UPDATE: The victim of the construction accident is 24 year old Justin Althoff from Watertown.

On April 21, 2016 at 10:17 AM the Watertown Police Department and Watertown Fire Rescue responded to the building site of the new Watertown Recreation Center for a report of a worker who fell approximately 35 feet from the roof.

The adult male victim was transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital where he later died as a result of injuries sustained from the fall.

The victim’s name is being withheld at this time pending family notification.
