[ARCHIVED] WFR responds to mutiple accidents

WFR personell were busy responding to multiple calls for service due to slippery roads and foggy conditions. At approx 11:00 am WFR responed to a snowmobile vs car accident on West Highway 212, no injuries were reported. The snowmobile was attempting to cross Highway 212 and did not see the oncoming car due to foggy condtions. At 11:08 am WFR responed to a 2 vehicle accident at Highway 20 and 449th Ave, one vehicle lost control on slippery roads and spun into oncoming traffic hitting the vehicle on the drivers side, which caused that vehicle to go in the ditch and over an approach. Both occupants were seatbelted and did not require medical treatment. At 11:18 am WFR was called to a 2 vehicle T-bone collision at 29th St SE and Highway 212 no injuries were reported and fluids were cleaned up. At 12:03 pm WFR responed to a 1 vehicle rollover on Interstate 29 at mile marker 171. The vehicle was travelling northbound and went over a bridge deck and lost control of the vehicle spinning into the median and rolling over. 3 occupants were treated and 1 was transported to PLH for further evauation. Watertown Fire Rescue would like to remind people when weather and road conditons are unfavorable please allow extra time to get to your destination. Allow extra distance between vehicles and please turn on you headlights in poor visibility conditions.
