[ARCHIVED] Commercial Burglaries

On September 25, 2013, an arrest was made in connection with the multiple commercial
burglaries that occurred between May and August 2013 in Watertown, SD.

Mr. Dylan Bouvett, from Watertown, SD, was arrested in connection with the burglaries at the
Sand Trap Disc Golf Course, Prairie Winds Golf Course, 212 Casino, Iron Range Smokehouse,
Elks Lodge, Cattail Crossing Golf Course, Target, Menards, and Foxy’s Casino.

Bouvett is being held at the Codington County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash/surety bond.

3rd Degree Burglary is a Class 5 felony. The maximum penalty for a Class 5 felony is five years
imprisonment in the state penitentiary, a fine of $10,000, or both.

Intentional Damage to Property (over $1,000) is a Class 4 felony. The maximum penalty for a
Class 4 felony is ten years imprisonment in the state penitentiary, a fine of $20,000, or both.

The Watertown Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance
