[ARCHIVED] City of Watertown Calls for Volunteers to Clean Up Parks

Park Clean-up Poster

The City of Watertown Park, Rec, & Forestry Department is excited to announce a special initiative in honor of Earth Day, inviting volunteers to join cleaning up our parks from Monday, April 22, 2024 to Saturday, April 27, 2024.

This community-wide effort aims to beautify our green spaces, including parks, bike trails, and city-owned land, in celebration of Earth Day on April 22, 2024. Individuals, groups, businesses, and church groups are all encouraged to participate and contribute to this meaningful cause.

Volunteers can choose a day and time that suits them best to lend a hand in cleaning up our beloved parks. To sign up, please contact Ryan Heiser by phone at 605-882-6260. We will provide all necessary supplies, including garbage bags and gloves.

For those unable to participate during the specified week, please reach out to Ryan Heiser, and we will make other arrangements.

Join us in honoring Earth Day by taking action to keep our parks clean.
