On April 6th, 2024 at 8:15pm, Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to a single vehicle car accident near the address of 45050 164th St northwest of Watertown, SD. The incident took place approximately 2.5 miles west of Dakota Sioux Casino on 164th St. A single vehicle was found in the west bound ditch. There was only one person in the vehicle at the time of the incident. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by Watertown Fire Rescue paramedics.
