Weather permitting, the City of Watertown Public Works Department will begin work on the 2025 Intersection Improvements Project-10th Avenue NE on Monday, September 29, 2025. The work is scheduled to be completed by October 4, 2025, pending any unforeseen issues. The 2025 Intersection Improvements Project-10th Avenue NE project scope includes the reconstruction of roadway surfacing to install a turn lane.
This project is at the intersection of 10th Ave NE and US HWY 81. This project will require 10th Avenue NE to be CLOSED from US HWY 81 to 7th Street NE. We ask that you plan ahead and find an alternate route during this construction.
As with any road construction project, motorists should exercise caution and observe all traffic control devices and flaggers in and around the construction areas. Residences and businesses will remain accessible most of the time. Motorists are asked not to park on the street in work areas.
