Just before 8:00 am on Friday morning WFR responded to a motor vehicle accident on Willow Creek Dr. Once on scene it was found that a black Cadillac SRX had veered off of Willow Creek Dr into the north boulevard. A light post and small tree in the boulevard had also been knocked over. WFR crews removed the lone passenger of the vehicle and transported this person to the Prairie Lakes Hospital for further evaluation. Engine crews were on scene for about 40 minutes cleaning up the debris field and assisting the wrecker in removing the vehicle from the boulevard. Watertown Municipal Utilities was called to manage the downed light pole and the Watertown Street Department was called to remove the downed tree. WFR was assisted on scene by the WPD, Active Towing, Watertown Municipal Utilities, and the Watertown Street Department.
