City crews are working across Watertown to clear boulevard tree debris from roadways following recent storms. This process will take time citywide.
Residents can help by clearing leaves and branches from storm drains near their homes. Keeping grates clear reduces the risk of street flooding during future rain events.
Tree Waste from Private Property –Tree waste can be dropped off for free at the Watertown Regional Landfill through Saturday, August 23. The landfill is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at 45605 175th Street. Please bring proof of residency (utility bill, driver’s license, or other bill showing a Watertown address). The 4th Avenue drop-off site will not be open.
Please avoid storm-damaged areas and give crews room to work. Thank you for your patience as we clean up our community.
