On May 6th at approximately 3:40 pm, Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to the 400 block of 7th Ave SE for a report of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, crews found a fully involved engine compartment fire in a mid-size pickup that was close to a building. Watertown Fire Rescue quickly extinguished the fire, which was contained to the vehicle. Three personnel responded on Engine 4. As of this press release, the cause of the fire is undetermined, and the vehicle is considered a total loss.
