At approximately 2:10 pm, WFR responded to a structure fire at 969 Kerry Lane, where a detached shed was reported to be on fire. The response included Battalion 1, Engine 3, Engine 4, Brush 3 and Medic 4. Upon arrival, crews found a detached shed measuring approximately 45' x 80', fully engulfed in flames. WFR was assisted by Watertown Police Department and Watertown Municipal Utilities in shutting off the electricity and gas line running from the house to the structure. WFR fought the fire using multiple 2 ½ inch handlines for a duration of 4 and a half hours.
