The City of Watertown Solid Waste Division will resume weekly yard waste collection on Monday, March 24, 2025. Place yard waste carts curbside on your regular garbage collection day.
Accepted Yard Waste:

‣ Grass clippings
‣ Small twigs & leaves
***Do NOT place: Rocks, soil, cinderblocks, wood, pet waste, garbage, or bagged materials in your yard waste cart.***
Free Yard Waste Drop-Off
Watertown residents can dispose of accepted yard waste for free at the Watertown Regional Landfill. A copy of your utility bill is required for verification.
Tree Waste Disposal (branches & logs) at Landfill:
‣ $35 per ton (minimum charge: $10)
