- Watertown residents are invited to take part in this free event, providing a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of household hazardous waste.
What’s Accepted:
Dispose of hazardous items such as:
- Aerosols
- Oven Cleaners
- Mercury products
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Pesticides & weed killers
- Oil-based paints & cleaners
- Bug & rodent killers
- Pool chemicals
- Batteries (Lithium & NiCad)
And more!
What’s NOT Accepted:
- Commercial/industrial waste, medical waste, TVs, VCRs, computer equipment, radioactive waste, explosives, used oil, copiers, phones, fax machines, latex paint, used antifreeze, printers, scanners, asbestos, ammunition, video game systems, car batteries, tires, and household batteries.
Important Notes:
- This event is for non-commercial hazardous waste only.
- Large loads will not be accepted; No containers larger than 5 gallons, no loads exceeding 50 gallons, and no more than 50 containers.
