A Snow Emergency has been declared by the City of Watertown. Therefore, the Street Maintenance Division will be plowing & sanding as scheduled below.
Thursday, December 19th, 2024 Schedule
- Currently, plowing & sanding, Highways and Emergency Snow Routes.
Friday, December 20th, 2024 Schedule
- 3 AM: Snow will be removed from the entire Downtown Zone.
- Parking is prohibited and subject to ticket & tow on these roadways until snow is cleared.
- Downtown Zone Business Owners: Cleaning your sidewalks off before 3 AM.
- 5 AM: North Zone, East Zone, South Zone, and Lake Zone – ALL ROADWAYS (streets and avenues). Also, Central Zone – STREETS ONLY (not avenues).
- Parking is prohibited and subject to ticket & tow on these roadways until snow is cleared.
If additional accumulation/blowing occurs and the Street Superintendent deems it necessary, the Street Maintenance Division may alter this plan to re-plow high-priority roadways such as Highways & Emergency Snow Routes.
The Street Division appreciates the cooperation and understanding of residents in removing cars to provide for effective snow removal.
