At approximately 9:30 in the morning on Saturday, November 2nd, Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of 445th Ave and 175th St southwest of Watertown, SD. When crews arrived on scene they found a vehicle on its roof in a slough. Crews worked with a Game, Fish and Parks conservation officer to determine if there was a victim in the vehicle. One victim was found to be deceased in the vehicle. WFR responded with Engine 4 from Station 1, and Medic 1 from Station 2. Codington County Dive Search and Rescue also responded to the scene to assist with the recovery efforts.
