WFR responds to camper fire at 3801 9th Ave. SE on the west side of the parking lot. 911 call was received this morning of a possible camper fire in the parking lot on the west side. WFR responded with an engine company and an ambulance. When crews arrived, smoke was exiting the camper from the roof vents and obvious heat had melted outside components of the trailer. WFR Engine crews quickly made entry and extinguished the fire. WFR then ventilated the mobile structure and began looking for any other hotspots. When crews were confident that the fire had not spread, crews cleaned up scene and returned to respective stations. No injuries were reported and vehicles were turned over to the owner.
