On Tuesday, September 3, the Watertown City Council and the Codington County Commission will take action on proposed financial contributions to the Mother of God Monastery. These contributions aim to facilitate the transition and expansion of Little Blessings Daycare.
Both entities acknowledge that these financial contributions are only part of the long-term solution to Watertown’s childcare challenges and remain committed to collaborating with local partners and businesses to further develop a long-term solution that allows new and expanded childcare facilities to grow and thrive. Leaders from both organizations will continue to work to create a Childcare Revolving Loan fund through partnerships with other agencies and local businesses.
More information on the financial commitments, Revolving Loan Fund and the future of Little Blessings will be available after both entities take action on September 3rd.
