IMG_20240715_181237

On July 15th at approximately 4:45pm WFR's Engine 3 and Engine 4 responded to a vehicle on fire that was leaking gasoline.  Upon arrival it was observed that gasoline was leaking and the fuel tank was punctured. Multiple attack lines were pulled and foam and water were used to extinguish the fire.  WFR deployed containment efforts by catching remaining fuel in a small hazmat pool, damming and diking with floor dry and sorbent booms to contain foam and fuel from entering storm drains.  All fuel and foam were cleaned up and no contaminants entering into storm drains.  The hazardous material clean up was assisted by Performance Towing.
