  2. Summer Story Times

    June 1, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - July 30, 2021, 5:00 p.m. @ All sessions will be held outside on the south lawn of the library.

    Story time programs aim to instill a love of reading by encouraging parents and other special adults to read aloud to children. Programs include an activity or craft and last 45 minutes. Sessions reoccur once weekly with multiple options for every age group. If the library is hosting a special event at the same time as a Story Time session, Story Time will be canceled for that day. Registration begins 4/13/2021.

  3. End of Summer Bubble Show

    July 30, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. @ This event will be outside on the south side of the library.

    Let’s have some fun with a skilled bubbleologist, who will delight families with an engaging outdoor bubble show. This performance is open to all ages, but will especially delight younger children and their families.

    Absolute Science is an educational program aimed at engaging all ages in the world of science through demonstrations and experiments. This program is open to all ages.

  5. One Book SD Author Tour

    July 31, 2021, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. @ Community Room

    Melanie Benjamin, the author of this year's One Book South Dakota pick, will discuss her book "The Children's Blizzard". The presentation will be held online or you may attend the virtual meeting in the library's community room. Copies of "The Children's Blizzard" will be available for checkout at the circulation desk.
