Reserve Police Program

The Watertown Police Department Reserve Program consists of sworn volunteer officers who are fully equipped and uniformed. Reserve officers augment the full-time police force in offering law enforcement service to the community. These individuals volunteer their time and are trained to serve the citizens of Watertown in the same manner as a full-time officer.

Group Training

On a monthly basis, the reserve officers meet as a group to conduct training. In addition to responding to calls for service, reserve officers regularly assist the full-time officers with a variety of functions such as parades, concerts, and athletic events.

Serving in Your Community

The program is seeking motivated people who have a genuine interest in serving their community. If you feel you may qualify for this type of service, please contact the Watertown Police Department at 605-882-6210 for more information.
