WFR responds to interstate rollover due to high winds

I29 Rollover

On 3/7/17 at 3:58 pm WFR's Rescue 51 and Medic 3 responded for a pickup towing a camper that rolled over on the interstate. Upon arrival crews found a vehicle and camper blocking the southbound driving lane on Interstate 29 at MM 186. Crews assessed the driver of the pickup who was uninjured in the accident. The accident was attributed to the high winds in the area. WFR would like to remind drivers that they need to slow down when approaching an accident scene and proceed with caution. By slowing down and moving over your help protect the lives of the emergency personnel and wrecker operators that are working to clear the accident.
